It is possible to manage your inventory with Microsoft Excel (or any other software that can handle that type of spreadsheet, such as Open Office.)

This functionality enables you to export your inventory in full or in part into a spreadsheet, make any changes you want, and then import it back into Cashcow! with the modifications you've made.

First time users who do not have any inventory information inside Cashcow might also find it easier to fill out the spreadsheet with their stock information, and import it rather than using the interface to add items in manually.

***Please be aware that you will need to pay close attention to the details whenever dealing with the Excel functionality. If you make a mistake in the spreadsheet and then import it, that mistake will carry over into your inventory database.***
